Hi All,

fairly new to hotel programmes and have a question.

I am staying 2 nights a week in hotels with work and am focussing on Novotel as I like that hotel best of the options I have in the particular city where I need to be.

Have already made it to Silver. I will have Hilton Honours Diamond status from next week and was wondering if Accor ever matches status and/or if they might give me a challenge? I am definitely going to be staying 2-3 nights per week with them for the next 5 months (at least) so I guess eventually will get to Gold and possibly even higher, but would be nice to have it sooner.

I know the answer might be 'no, earn it the way everyone else does' but wanted to check.

AFAIK, Accor never did status match. But you have nothing to loose to ask them. But I would be surprised if they do it.

This thread is bitter sweet.

After 2 years of "free" plat giveaways and the fact that Accor has obviously listened and clamped down on that, I'd be surprised if they were to offer matching so soon after the last successful "giveaways" - which was I think in Nov last year.

might be a bit of a silly question, but how / who do I contact? Just the generic 'contact us' I assume that's on their website or is there a different way of getting through to 'them'?
