That would fit what I was told. I was told "no longer a Sofitel" but not "no longer an Accor property". I read to much into and did not ask further as I rarely stay at that hotel.

The one stay I had was decent but I would agree it has fallen lately. My coworkers complain a bit about staying there saying it is not up to standards any more.

I noticed the other day that the Mama Shelter Istanbul is no longer part of Le Club. Reading here, they are talking about:
"Difficulties with the relationship with the owner, strategic divergences, renovation work, disagreements on investments and a difficult context"

Mama shelter (all hotels) has never participated to LCAH. What is said here is that Istanbul one is closing and so will not be part of Accor network anymore.
