Cannot book for other using points?

I am trying to do so but the name has been fixed to be mine. So it's not possible?

Honestly, I can't even change the name when booking while I am logging in. This is weird, why can't I book for the others?

I believe that you cannot book the hotels for others as it was stated on Le Club T&C section 4.1:

The membership card is to be used by its Member only and cannot
be sold, lent or assigned
. Each card specifies the Member’s name,
an individual identification number and the membership status
expiry date

I believe this means completely another thing. e.g. I cannot earn points on others' stay. Or I cannot use others' card to get benefits. Which is true in every program.

But using points for others is another story.

I also agree with you; I hope that I could use points for others since sometimes I would like to give it as present for my family or collagues. Hopefully Accor concierge could raise this issue. ^

Can't you instead print vouchers and pass them on? I didn't read the t&cs on the vouchers I just passed over at my current stay.. But I'd assume that would be possible..

In that way I can. But then I won't be able to use prepaid rates :(.

I have no idea if it is possible to book with points for others (I believe it's not but I'm not 100% sure), but it is clearly allowed to print vouchers and give them to your relatives. Indeed, in this case, you can't book the cheapest rate (pre-paid).

I have booked for others in the past (not using any member-specific rates or earning any points on not-mine stays) while logged in, and never had any problems with that. Seems strange.
