I started taking part in the contest on week 2, and I did it for the 2 accounts in the family, both on the same day.
For account #1, I got the points on 8 November and they will be valid for 12 months
For account #2, I got the points on 12 November and they will be valid until 23 August 2013 (one year after my last stay).
Weird...

Weird indeed. Two accounts in our household received week 2 points today and in neither case did the date for points expiry reset.

You're right: both accounts now show extended expiry. 
Not a big deal for us, as we actually stay in Accor hotels often enough for expiring points not to be an issue, but I know some people here will value the extension greatly.

Le Club Accorhotels indeed identified that some players should have won 500 points instead of 400, and we corrected that. All the points that were earned will be credited at the end of the game, which will be at the latest three weeks thereafter. Also all participants that won 500 points are eligible to win 15,000 points through the draw.
Please be sure that your points will be attributed in due time. I deeply apologize for this misunderstanding and Le Club Accorhotels thanks you for your patience.
For members that couldn't play during the first week, could you please explain the problem you faced? Were you trying to connect via a mobile phone and what brower were you using? Can you please tell the Le Club Accorhotels team on Facebook by private message all this information, as well as the exact time (day and hour) you tried to connect to Discovery Tour, your member number and email address linked to your accorhotels.com account?
Please do not hesitate to ask the Facebook team any questions you may have.

I have only 500. So far only one report for third round posting (assuming 3x500 total), and seemingly a few having 2x 500 points.
