Hi Guys

I think I'm having a very bad day, probably jet lagged. I've just logged on to aclub to see how many points I earned for my recent stay in Kuala Lumpur and I don;t think it's right, my hotel bill is about £900 sterling and I've got the following:

The top 2 transactions are for 1 night and the bottom two are for 8 nights so shouldn't the top transaction be the botton X 8? I'm getting more confsed the more I look at it.

Actually, how many nights did you stay at Novotel KL ?

I tried to help then..

According to accorhotels website, 1 GBP equals to 1.20 EUR. Thus, your bill would be 1,080 EUR (900 GBP X 1.20 EUR/GBP).

Since Malaysian tax is 16% so your bill should exclude tax component.
Thus, the calculation would be:

1,080 EUR / 1.16 = 931.03 EUR (net of taxes)

Eligible A|Club points:
Base points : 931.03 EUR X 2 pts/EUR = 1,862 A|Club pts
Points accelerator (I assume that you are silver): 50% x 1,862 = 931 A|Club pts.

Wow...I think that your A|Club points are overstated. Never heard it before, usually most of them are understated. :p

Yeah, sometimes my statement understated so I get used to calculate A|Club points by myself after check-out. :p

Fortunately, all my points on my 5 last stays in different accor hotels have been posted accordingly (except the Super Weekends bonus promotion)

My points/stays simply post very, very slowly - sometimes takes 7-10 days.
