Nothing a $3 taxi ride can't fix. I decided long ago in Bangkok that location was much less important because taxis are so plentiful and cheap.

That is, if you have a lot of time on your hands. I decided long ago that BTS was the way to live That's why I think Sofitel Sukh is a nice property.

which hotel in bangkok

have an overnight in bkk. early evening untill lunchtime next day so looking at a downtown property. as a platinum member which hotel would you recommend in the m gallery pullman ir sofitel banner. lookibg for reasonable airport access and good upgrade options. time to transfer from airport and aprox cost of taxi ect.

I prefer both Sofitels, with the better values being Sofitel Sukhumvit, where I always got upgraded to an executive room with free wifi and free bf when booking a "standard" room.

The Sofitel So has great suites, but you have to pay big to get upgraded to theses suites

Always the Sofitel Suk for me, unless there's an Accor 1/2 off sale. Then it's the Grand Sukhumvit or the Pullman for $48.
