Warm greetings from Bermuda. We hope that you are well and are looking forward to your next trip to our beautiful island home.

As you know last year, Fairmont Southampton announced one of the most exciting and large-scale renovation projects in Bermuda tourism industry history, which was planned to be complete in April 2022. To this goal, we have been working tirelessly with many industry stakeholders including our owners, our brand, financiers, and The Bermuda Government to make this a reality. During this time substantial pre-construction work has happened. Financing is in the final stages of completion, and we are on course to start the renovation project covering public spaces, all guest rooms, and some exciting new leisure amenities imminently.

We are sorry to share that the project has taken much longer than could have been anticipated, as we navigate this project through the global pandemic. Our current planned opening has been delayed into 2023, and we are in the process of canceling your reservations and processing refunds for 2022. Bermuda would still love to see you! The island-wide Pink Sale, which offers the best value room rates for the year, is now on through February 20. We recommend The Hamilton Princess and Beach Club across the harbor, as it offers amenities most similar to our hotel on the island.
