I am a platinum member and I must say it is the worst hotel loyalty programme.
You get nothing and the help desk staff are both rude and inefficient . This is a great pity as there hotels are pretty good especially in Asia.

Hi, guys, questions about hotel voucher.
1. It's obvious that 60USD voucher has higher value than a 40euro voucher, but we plan to use it in Zurich, so will the hotel has their own sky-high currency rate, or they have to follow Le Accor currency rate?
2. I did the Facebook 2000points for my girlfriend and our family member (a total of 6ppl), so each of us would get a hotel voucher. So, can my girlfriend and I use all the 6voucher at once for a hotel stay(2nights) although it belongs to someone who are not present at the check-in?
Thanks a lot.
Regards.

You can combine vouchers you got from other people, they are completely transferable.

I would call the hotel in advance and ask for the exchange rates. Just FYI, a 60 dollar voucher yielded recently only 42 euros in the Netherlands.

First off, let me express my gratitude to the creator and maintainers of this FAQ.
I've been a member of A|Club (and whatever the program is called now) for quite a while. As my office makes all the bookings for me my normal workflow has been to present my card upon check-in and wait for the points to show up in my airline program after a few weeks (I have conversion configured). If after some time the points are still not there, I just submit a claim via the Accor website. Been doing this for years and have been steering my business to the Mercure & Ibis here in Germany for this reason.
However, I recently received an unwelcome surprise. Shortly after submitting my claim via the website I received a curt answer (from a 'no-reply' email address) stating that, as the booking was not made through Accor.com or one of the their approved partners, that I could not claim the points. They helpfully included the verbiage from the policy statement. As nothing has changed on my end - does this mean that they have tightened up their acceptance requirements in the past few months? Or is it representative dependent and I should I just try again next time? I have no influence over our booking process and cannot change workflows on this end. If I am unable to receive points for my stays at the Accor hotels around Germany I will just take my business elsewhere, as the quality of the hotels is nothing to write home about.
any thoughts are welcome!
thanks,
William

The 19 airline partners and their conversion rates are listed on:
http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/leclub...airlines.shtml
http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/leclub...airlines.shtml
British Airways - Executive Club 2 Le Club Accorhotels points = 1 Avios point
Iberia - Iberia Plus 2 Le Club Accorhotels points = 5 Avios points
Has anyone actually got 5 for 2 in Iberia? Assuming I could (eventually) convert these into BA avios this looks a favourable rate.

Thanks, just seemed like a typo: Iberia avios = BA avios as you point out.
I am awaiting my plat Accor status through Amex, an earn rate of 10 avios per Euro makes Sofitel much more appealing for 2013!

Hi guys, thanks for the FAQ. If I was planning on travelling to Asia with these vouchers, how can I reserve a room in advance (just in case its fully booked), I tried emailing one of the hotels with this, and he just pointed me to the accor website and told me all of my info was there.

If you have Le Club vouchers just book any flexible rate on the website (the one you can cancel and pay at check out) and use your voucher(s) just as you would do with cash.
