Do you know how far the LM is from Union Square?
Probably a 10-15 minute walk to union square and a 5 minute walk to the Embarcadaro Bart Station. Beware that the walk through the Financial district will be pretty deserted outside of business hours (although it is not a particularly unsafe area).
IIRC the LM has a complementary car service (by reservation) on weekdays although I've never used it.
