I've always enjoyed the
Rayong Resort. It is very secluded, tranquil, with Thai sensibilities. Typically, the guest mix is Thai and western European with a few scattered Americans. Koh Samet is readily visible from the hotel, with easy transfers if desired. My recommendation is the deluxe suite in the main wing.
