Not that I'm surprised, but really AP is big enough that they should have redundancy systems to get it back up in a more timely manner than this.
I wanted to book through AP today and while I could use the opportunity to (maybe?!?) get a booking for free with an agent, the wait was just too long and I gave up. Also figured I should leave space for those with non-discretionary travel issues.
I also like how the 'error message' on the website has changed from "maintenance" to "Due to a technical issue, our web site is currently unavailable" during the day. Classy.
