I'm with braslvr here. 1:25 is not enough for SFO. 2 out of the 3 most recent trips, bags took over 30 min to come off (as in, the first ones off the flight). The other time, immigrations took forever with US citizen lines filled with pax from other flights (IIRC). I always put at least 2 hours in between my int'l -> domestic flights at SFO.
I guess if you follow UA's guidelines on transfers, and you're within their "legal" allowances, they wil put you on the next available flight. I don't know what would happen if you purposely made your connection times short, though.
