I like the PH and even better since the renovation. The location is great. Now, I typically only stay there if I get a promo rate that includes like breakfast buffet coupons etc. My second choice is the Hilton Las Vegas, even though its location is pretty far from the strip (I always have a car so no big deal for me) they treat Diamonds and Golds pretty well. I always book the "classic" room and get a newly renovated room which is nice and I also get comp spa access and free breakfast. You will need your Diamond card at this property as mentioned before. So, to me the distance away from the strip isnt as important as the great rates and benefits as a Diamond at the Hilton. If you want to be on the strip and dont mind foregoing the benefits elites typically get the PH is a good property and great location.
