The only way I say stay at an SPG property is if switching between the Westin and Planet Hollywood, to take advantage of the Q1 promo.
That what I thought about. If I can also beat the rate, I would have 1k extra from the Q1 plus 2k from the BRG, makes 3k.
Regarding the Hiltons: I have very mixed feelings. Was never in a US Hilton but have the impression (from what I see on websites) that the LV Hiltons are somewhat like Tripreward hotels. I may be wrong in this point? I hope.
