You wouldn't believe how many pax (esp. those from front and first floor cabins) complained about exactly these trivia after the BKK QF 1 accident and threatened to sue, demanded free F tickets and/or trillions of FF miles...they weren't celebrating their survival but pushing for compensation mainly for delayed luggage...
to some a second life isn't just enough...
