Flew MUC-EWR on 12/30. The crew had two nights off in New York and their partners with them. They were all excited, in the best of spirit and delivered a great service. The PADs behaved very well -- at least up in the front!
However, the last time in BOS two PAD occupied the First-Class check-in counter for what seemed ages, while full fare paying passengers had to wait. When being served at the Business-Class counter I raised that point but was told that they know but "cannot do anything, these are cockpit crew." I for one don't know whether that was true or not but I found this statement rather irritating.
