For upgrade to business premier, definitely asia. For me not 100% success, but far better than LHR and LAX/SFO flights which are very difficult to clear (there have been times when I couldn't even buy a business class seat on the USA mainland flights when I needed to travel).
HNL or PPT, while on 767 are longer flights than trans-tasman and other south pacific islands.
