Dr Bilal Abdullah was born in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire - and as he was born before 1983 is automatically a British citizen.. I believe that even if he was born after '83 he would still be a citizen as his father was 'lawfully settled' in the UK. British papers have reported that the family moved back to Iraq a few years later.
