Good experience at Westin Paris
Well - we stayed at WP for 3 days and had an overall very good experience. I booked two rooms on points and was upgraded on 1 of the rooms. The upgraded room had flat panel TV and was larger but even the other room was decent size. The rooms overall are nice but do show some wear and tear as I expected from posts on this thread and others. The location is unbeatable (right across from Tuilierres and couple blocks from Louvre) and therefore I would definitely recommend it for that alone. Also, being Plat, I was given access to the concierge lounge which had a nice continental breakfast each morning - I sort of sneaked in my in-laws as well and the lady hosting the lounge didn't push the matter. Had room service one night and the pasta we ordered was nice and the service was very prompt. For the points (10k a night) it was definitely worth it and I would recommend it.
