...are "livercheesebagels" available in NYC?
Have no recollection of ever seeing
leberkaese offered on a bagel in NY and I have lived in Yorkville for many years, watching the neighborhood change from almost all Germans and Hungarians to regular NYC "Uppies."
The
leberkaese was always available at the late and lamented Schaller & Weber German supermarket on Third Avenue. This great store is now closed in favor of the entire block being torn down for another high rise apartment building.
