Access to SkyTeam Lounge if you are not flying SkyTeam (but have a membership card)
I have a NW WorldClubs membership, and I will be traveling through Suvarnabhumi several times in a month, but each time, it will not be on a SkyTeam member. Assuming I can get into the club (which I called northwest, and they can think of no reason why not), are there any security restrictions that would keep me from getting _to_ the club from any other part of the airport? For example, in one of the legs of the trip, I will be flying AirAsia (a discount carrier) with a long layover in Suvarnabhumi. Could I go from my arrival gate to the lounge without passing through security that would restrict me from getting into the "Skyteam" section of the airport? Or are the lounge areas unrestricted beyond the initial securty check (i.e. it would be possible to get to the entrance of any lounge so long as you have a ticket departing on _some_ airline)?
Thanks in advance for you help.
