It will matter... when you're flying on a Mesaba airplane you're flying with people who have a totally different level of professionalism. In addition, the whole company is different from training standards to a corporate culture. The bottom line is that you're probably in better hands when flying in a Mesaba operated aircraft than that of a Pinnacle one.
