Start in lower Manhattan (the Wall St area) and head north.
Downtown Manhattan, and the Financial district has always been referred to as the Wall St area.

You can make a left or a right but if you are heading west from Ferrara's, you had better make a right if you wish to head NORTH to Prince Street.
