We just got first class (Z) award tickets DCA-HNL. They are routing us DCA-STL-LAX-HNL with the 1st 2 legs on MD's. Return is HNL-SFO-ORD-DCA. Any other routing would have been double miles.

What is First Class like on the MD's? Will we have lounge access during layovers?

FC on the MD is fine, I prefer the right side (starboard). Seats are equivalent to 738s, but not as nice as widebodies.

No Adm Club access for domestic FC (assuming you're not an AC member and don't want to shell out the $ 50 for a day pass).
