Could a Starwood veteran advise me on this unusual situation:
In a promotional lottery of some kind, my NW number is a lucky (?) winner of a free Preferred Guest Gold membership thru Feb. 2005, even though I haven't stayed at a Starwood hotel in years.
What's it worth? Are there privileges of real significance or just a collection little frills?
Also, as mentioned in the post by RobertH I would like to use the SPG account for eventually transferring points to Worldperks -- how does this work?
