I flew NRT-ORD last week (in F), they had the cheeseburger in both classes, per the FA (F and C share mostly the same snacks menu). I would bet that they would get you one from F if you asked and explained that you did not want the Japanese choices.
That was one of the best I have ever had! Very moist but not greasy.
Perfect. Served with chips and pickles, olives, mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise.
Very BIG with a sesame seed bun, tomatoes, lettuce, and I believe onion.
And they have colas and beer for drink (more appropriate than Champagne anyway).
I can understand why they put it on the menu - some of the Japanese items can be a bit much for the non-Japanese flyers. Comfort food! They also have a calzone which the FAs told me was a "pizza" - didn't try it, but they said it's the "most popular" (?).
