The sooner this property opens, the better. I just spent this past weekend in Punta Cana at the Punta Cana Club & Resort (one of the ubiquitous all-inclusives). The beaches were stunning & empty...but the rooms reminded me of the Newark Airport Sheraton. I will definitely be staying at the new Westin once it opens. After my first trip, Punta Cana managed to slot itself in behind Aruba & Barbados as having my favorite Caribbean beaches.
Now if only CO would re-launch nonstop service to PUJ from IAH...
