The talk about delaying the midfield expansion has been around for months now and my personal feeling is that they will defer it till the end of winter just to remove the risk of bad PR with winter delays/teething troubles combining at the new terminal.

The A330s have NOT even been ordered with PTVs in the main cabin, let alone on-demand video. The first A330 delivery won't be on the line in Toulouse for another 6-7 months though, so there is plenty of time to change their mind, but don't hold your breath.

The NRT base rumor has also been around for a long time. There is substance to this rumor, especially since there has been informal polling lately among the narrowbody pilots (especially MEM base) if they are willing accept an overseas assignment. Its being touted as a fast-track to the left seat for those who are willing, since most of the senior types will stay put at the cushy US bases.
