I have been flying NW almost exclusively for the last six weeks and forgot about one of the initial observations I had about NW a few years ago.... until I flew another airline again this week and the FA's...... smiled! Yeah, and they were upbeat and positive, not coming across as task-oriented.

Now, this may not be a big thing, but I noticed it and was reminded of my initial observations.
