I stay there regularly. The rooms are large by New York standards with big windows. The renovation has brought lots of positive changes (the new Courtyard bed, good TVs, improved furniture including a rolling desk and cloth-covered office chair) along with the somewhat garish new Courtyard color scheme (blues and golds instead of greens). The staff is outstanding -- polite, efficient, and willing to go above and beyond whenever necessary.
