yes, 1998. it was a flight from del to bom that stopped at a number of small cities en route. upon landing at the first city (maybe jaipur), someone 10 rows back yelled, "fire!" and pandamonium ensued. about half of the passengers called it quits at that point, but i stayed on because i didn't fancy a 12+ hour bus ride to arangabad.
