Yes, Public transport connection search.

Recommandable?
Yes, there are some nice things to see in Frankfurt, have a look a virtualtourist.com.

I suggest you to get off at the station Römer as the first point of interest and then walk to the river in order to get some worldcup-feeling, if you are in FRA during a game.
