That's interesting for new applicants. Although, I couldn't see how a $600+ flight (East coast-West coast return) was really viable in the long term.
Wonder how long till current applicants get the letter to advise of changes to their benefits ... or if it will be grandfathered as a benefit to all "Foundation Member" cards. Time will tell I suppose.
The new T&C indicate that they are working on getting the flights bookable through
www.qantas.com somehow. That will be nice when it happens.
