Ferry Rides to Bainbridge

As I'm sitting on the ferry now watching all of the tourists take their pictures I thought I'd provide more information:

Ferry leaves from downtown Colman Dock (near Ivar's) on Alaskan Way
Ferry schedule on Saturday/Sunday is slightly different from M - F

If anybody is interested in making the ferry ride to Bainbridge (30 minute crossing) I'm happy to pick you up at the ferry terminal on Bainbridge and you're more than welcomed to come to my home to have some pre- or post-wine and food - I just need to know so I can plan

For those of you who are planning on visiting Bainbridge and are walking, the town of Winslow is immediately accessible from the ferry terminal - you'll find small shops, the waterfront, restaurants. Further out you'll find Bloedel Reserve - need reservations to visit it however - they only allow so many people in the property each day. Gorgeous - it's the old Weyerhauser place - largest moss garden in North America
