Even when they were the only one in town flying ns to LAS, I stopped taking them. Their planes are old, their service is bad, and they are always late and have mechanical problems.
They can't even begin to compete with WN or any other carrier for that matter.
The A319 and A320's are not particularly old. The CRJ's are definitely new. Their service is basically the same as everyone else's (beverage service). I am not going quibble with you about late flights, but recently my late flights are actually on Mesa not HP. Again, all of my mechanical problems have been on Mesa lately.
At least, on HP, you have an assigned seat. WN can be a mess at times, particularly if the computer won't let you check-in online.
