The Ritz in Beaver Creek is a wonderful vacation hotel, with it's own chairlift. The spa is neat, it has a kind-of grotto and if not filled with families it is very relaxing. The hotel is a couple of miles away from the village center of Beaver Creek and 11 miles down valley from Vail. If possible, fly into Eagle County Airport. If you fly into D.I.A. in Denver, the drive back on a Sunday can be a 100 mile 4 to 5 hour traffic jam. It's just awful.
Eagle County Airport, which is about 30 miles west, can take private jets and some airlines land 737's there.
