I'm sure by now you've discovered that VIPs can upgrade to FC for $50 each way at checkin (based on availability), or $100 confirmed at ticketing. As has been pointed out, if you opt for the $100 advance UG, the ticket basically becomes a full Y fare, allowing free changes or refunds.

I agree - it'd be nice to have a dedicated SY board. Even though they technically don't have a FF program.
