Yep...airlines are backing up the Brink's truck to the planes as they pull into the gates...fares as low as $9 (Spirit Airlines-last minute FLL-KIN) to JetBlue's $99 one way fare from FLL to LGB or OAK and BOS-SJC (non-refundable, 7 day advance purchase through May 24.) BA has this offer: r/t airfare, and 3 nights hotel for $398. That isn't union propaganda, or the socialist thought police--that is an e-mail I received yesterday from a travel company.
Why do you think what AEpilot76 posted was a myth? Maybe you were referring to the days of $39 transcon fares and see a $99 fare as extravagant?
