oops guys I guess I non-intentionally switched the topic of this thread into "usefullness of management consultancy".... Apologies for my first moan on this but I see the topic is hot in your minds
Generally, I dont see a problem when somebody with many years of practical experience and knowledge of the industry come to analyse/consult the business. But what I dont like at all (unfortunately and opposite, it is quite popular with corporate bosses) when a group of ex-students or even worse past losers with big mouth come to build presentations (based on what you spent days telling them) and then give you a very general summary "to improve" where their company can provide an irreplacable assistance costing a fortune.
ok, I will stop this very OT and lets go back to occupation of FTers
