dhammer53, I don't hate Delta either. So far, I am very happy with what I paid for and what I got. Whenever they screwed up, they apologized and tried to compensate me for what they have done wrong.
If I were the typical business customer, paying full fare more often, I would have switched, though. Simply because they screw up more and more, and because their alliance is not working, additionally to the SkyMiles downgrades. But so far, I will stick with DL - and the probability of 90% that I will make PM this year helps that a lot. If I wouldn't, you can bet I would be flying UA. DL does not have an edge for their lower two tiers anymore.
