TerryK posted, JL's entry in Oneworld certainly won't be finalized in March, 2006.
But you can already get Elite qualifying mileage (EQMs) by buying the AA codeshares on JAL metal. AFAIK, all JAL USA-NRT flights are available with AA flight numbers.
