Delta refund not avaiable for web fare reduction to Zurich
my girlfriend and I are traveling to ATL/Zurich on Dec 1 to capture double miles and 10000 bonus. Purchased a L fare on web site 6 weeks ago for $560. There is now available a U fare (only on Delta web not expedia etc) for $442. Delta is refusing to offer a voucher for fare difference because it is not a "published fare".
Has anyone had any experience with this problem?
another problem is that the U fares do not qualify for double miles...hmmm
