And I agree. It was nice to be able to speak with the top exec at CO, and I really did appreciate that he gave me a few minutes of his time.

As it turned out we were on the same flight to Los Angeles (he in FC, of course. Your correspondent sat in steerage) <g>

The flight got off to an interesting start. Pulled back from the gate and stopped. Had to return immediately so that paramedics could come on board to check on and then remove a passenger in respiratory distress.

Once that was done we pulled back again and again stopped. This time a red light in the cockpit... Maintenance checked on that.

Finally, about 45 minutes late we were able to take off.
