Amex 2 for 1 - reducing spend to 15K
I've just found out that from October, the spend needed on my BA Premium Amex card to trigger the 2 for 1 voucher is being reduced from 17.5K to 15K.
Great news you would think, but unfortunately I've been very carefully controlling my spend so not to trigger the voucher until January when I will have 100K + miles. This will now mean that I will get the voucher straightaway as my spend by this month will take me over 15K. We want to use the voucher for a trip in Nov or even as late as Jan 07. They have given me no notice of this - I just happened to spot it on the BA site yesterday.
Do you think they will extend the validity in view of the circumstances.
