You asked which side of the plane to sit on while flying into Honolulu. If you are traveling from the U.S. lower 48, do try to obtain a window seat on the right-hand side of the plane (right-hand that is when facing forward looking toward the pilot). That window seat will make it very easy for you to view Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach on descent. It is, I can assure you, a magnificent view!
