.. just thought I'd be a bore and point out that FFP are constructs to benefit airlines. Benefits to passengers are selective.
Airlines slowly realised that only a
very very small proportion of their frequent flyers generate significant levels of revenue, and so their FFP are designed to encourage the loyalty of these few.
Really, it's not rational to chase low-yielders with miles. You catch us by manipulating fares
