I stayed at the Sheraton in late may on award stays. Had booked two rooms - as a Plt got upgraded to 2 suites on 2 different floors - one below the other which was inconvienent. Interesting thing is that they didn't give access to the lounge - probably because we were using pts - the guy at the front desk pretended not to understand what I was asking about. I didn't pursue it.

Overall I would classify this as an average/mediocre hotel. Rooms were spacious but definitely not luxurious. It definitely is way below the hotels to be found in Santiago or BA (i.e Hyatt, Marriott, Sheraton Libertador, etc). IMO, even the four points in Quito and Guayaquil? were nicer and had better furnishings. On the plus side, this hotel is close to the center of town (for sightseeing) and as a Cat 1 is cheap for an award stay.
