I agree with
PG. My personal interpretation of The Buzz is
general Frequent Flyer (ok, or Frequent Stay) news, as he describes.
If someone really thinks that some program specific piece of news is so earth shattering or time sensitive that they feel it should be mentioned in The Buzz, well then IMHO, it should just be announced by title and a short description followed by a link. Example:
Hey, there's a pretty good deal happening over in Hilton as you can guess from the title of this thread. Check out:
http://blah.blah.blah

To deliberatly solicit that replies be made to this new thread, invites division of information and inefficency. Now folks have to monitor 2 threads (or maybe more) in order to keep up to date!
Just refer 'em to the appropriate thread and that's that. IMHO.
