I am looking to use Hawaiian frequent flyer miles for a one-way flight from Honolulu to Kona in September. On their website, there are no flights available using the basic 5,000 mile flight award for that day. I don't get it because it is more than 3 months out and I'm not flying during a popular month. Even the $68 "cheap" fare for that day is only available to very few flights on that day (9/22). Should I wait to see if I can cash in miles or grab a $68 fare while I can?
