Independence Air Now LIVE in Amadeus System; Over 67,000 Amadeus-Linked Travel Agencies Now Have Access to FLYi Schedule, Fares and Bookings

DULLES, Va., April 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Low-fare airline Independence Air (Nasdaq: FLYI - News) today confirmed that its entire flight schedule is now available for sale through the Amadeus global distribution system (GDS). Independence Air flights are listed under the symbol DH.

Amadeus claims an impressive client list of more than 67,000 travel agencies worldwide, and partnerships with hundreds of airlines, representing more than 95% of the world's scheduled airline seats.

Independence Air Senior Vice President of Marketing Eric Nordling said, "The strategy of offering our schedule for sale through the major GDS providers has been increasingly successful over the past several months, and this new partnership with Amadeus is another important step."
